Mailbag Topic 2 January 17, 2005 Eggman's Current Role
Responses Ahhh, Dr. Eggman is one of my favorite sonic
v-game characters, beside Metal [sonic]. He has a great roll in the hero vs.
villan plot to also go on the side of the good... I doute myself to do that.
Butt in the last game, "Sonic Heroes," Eggman didn't have a "BIG"
roll. He was only the mistery client to team chaotix and explained the whole
Metal Sonic thing, witch wasn't a good speach going on I knew and most respectful
sonic game fans would already know everything he was saying, and he speach
draged out. Eggman should have been a playable character. Also about sonic
heroes in general what happened to the chao! I knew that game was for newer
sonic fans but why diddn't you introduce the chao?!?! I feel ashamed... Look at the most recent 3D games (Adventure,
Adventure 2 and Heroes), in all I'd like to see more of Eggman in future Sonic games. I think he got enough exposure in the 2 Adventure games, but I felt he was left out too much from Sonic Heroes, even if the majority of the time the Dr Eggman on screen wasn't the real Dr Eggman. I think more Eggman goes hand in hand with better good storylines since Eggman's the whole reason that the events in the Sonic games happen. And maybe an Eggman RTS perhaps?
