Classic Japanese Style
   

Concept Sketches

Concept art BEFORE Sonic the Hedgehog. This was when Eggman was a proposed mascot for Sega.Second concept. I'm unsure WHAT Eggman's doing here, but he's wearing a bee outfit.I think this is the first image of Eggman's final design. His cape's bigger than usual here...A concept art sheet used for Eggman's egg-spressions. Most didn't ever leave the model sheet, though the "HAHAHA" image found its way to the Sonic 2 manual. Classic American/European Style
   

Taken from a European book, Eggman with some Badniks. It's interesting that Eggman apparently has NO EYES in this style. This art is for Sonic Chaos. Sonic 3. Hm. While the Japanese Eggman was always smiling, this style seems to always be steaming mad. Grr! Eggman hates that hedgehog. Or he's trying to play an invisible guitar. Eggman quite upset. And from the side. And from the back. Sonic 3D Eggman, the closest non-Japanese art to the original style.
