Chapter Two: The Partnership
“ What?!” I had no idea what was going on. At first I thought it was Sonic, but I couldn’t believe that the figure in front of me was in fact a girl! “ Oh, sorry, I forgot. My name is- oh wait, I forgot something else...” She placed her hand into a bag of some sort and pulled out two items. “ I would think that these glasses are yours.” She placed it in my hand. I placed them on and when I saw who had given me my glasses and got me out of the ice cube, shocked me. It was a 13 or 14 year old girl with blue hair, blue eyes and with fox ears on top of her head. She was wearing a red tee shirt with a black trench coat, brown pants, and black boots ( Not high healed). She gleamed. “My name is Rose Dieten Fox. From Station Square.” She held out her hand for a hand shake. I looked at her hands that were puny to mine and hesitated. After a couple of seconds I shook her hand. Slowly. She smiled with delight which made me wonder. I had never seen a single person smile at me like this before, only the smirks from Sonic. After the hand shake she handed me my goggles back and I gladly put them back on. For some strange reason It felt weird without them on top of my head. I never really taken them off, only when I went into my room to sleep. If I did sleep. Rose picked up the can of Dr. Pepper and sipped it. It made be realized that I was hungry and thirsty. “ Hey, you got anything to eat?” I asked. “ Yeah, that would be stupid not to bring anything if you estimated that you’d be stuck somewhere for a couple of days.” She pulled out a pill case and then a microwave that looked like it had upgrades. I was yet again dumfounded. “ Ummmm....how did you fit that microwave in your back pack?” I asked her. “ Don’t you know? Woman can fit almost anything into their purses or back packs. My mom has five house in her purse.” I was shocked. Her mom kept FIVE HOUSE in her PURSE!!!??? I was almost afraid to ask her my next question, but I asked anyways. “ Your kidding right? I mean, Five Houses! That’s impossible!!” “ For us woman it’s not. Mom keeps the houses in case our house burns down. It’s very handy since we don’t have to move or buy another house. Oh, did I mention the houses have furniture for if our house burns we won’t be sleeping on the ground?” With my eyes wide and pupils small I nodded no. “ Oh well, it’s true.” She placed a pill into the microwave. A couple of seconds later when it finished she pulled out a double cheese burger. “ Cheese burger?” “ Yeah.” I took it and began to eat.

After 20 cheese burgers later I began to ask more questions. “ When I thought you were Sonic, why did you say, ‘You have very pretty blue eyes?” She blinked and asked back, “ Was this before or after I had a sip of Dr. Pepper?” “ Before.” “ Well then that means I don’t know. I say just about anything if I don’t get at least a sip of DP.” She took another sip of Dr, Pepper. “ Why the hell is Dr. Pepper so important to you?” She shrugged her shoulders and said, “ I’m kinda addicted to it. I really don’t know why, but somehow it taste better than anything else....” She took another sip. “ And why did you let me out in the first place? I don’t think even if a guy was Desperate to take over the world would get me out.” Their was a pause. She sighed. “ Well...I want to take over the world..., but I feel that you deserve it more than I do, but with the expatiation of ruling half of the world....” I looked at her strangely. “ What are you getting at?” I asked, wondering where she was getting too. She paused and answered, “ I want to make a partnership.” “ A what?” “ A partnership. You know, get together, take over the world and rule it together. So are you in or not?” She got out her hand for a shake, this time on agreeing. I looked at her hand and back at her. “ How can you trust me? I am an evil genius. I could stab you into your back.” She smirked at me. “ And how can you trust me because I’m one too and not only that I’m a form of Demon and yet I trust you.” I snickered and shook her hand. “ Partners.”
