Arr. Quick entry, Egg-Egg. Just woke up to the sounds of explosions. Seems we
are under seige! But not to worry, I have the best amounts of defenses! Ever! I AM
the Eggman, after all!

If it's who I think it is... Ooh, he will be sorry!

Day B, 7:00 A.M.

I WAS RIGHT. IT WAS HIM.

That hero the public all know and love and adore and favor...

SONIC.

Yesss... Sonic The Hedgehog... ooh, how come HE gets all the glory, Egg-Egg?!
I'M the evil mastermind, I'M the one who makes national threats, and I'M the one
who can build cool stuff! All that blue dimwit does is run, run, run, and destroy!

Why does HE get all the attention?!

Anyway, he and his little fox friend attacked arund 0400 hours, and decided to put
a stick in the mud of my plans once again!

Blargh. He seems to be keeping at bay for now. He's after my Chaos Emerald! He
won't be getting this one, oh no! This baby's MINE. And I'll continue to collect the
emeralds! Soon, I'll have enough to conquer the world! Only then will I be able to snag
the populace's attention away from that hedgehog, and onto ME, the RIGHTFUL
deserving person of such attention!

The Eggman will NOT stand for this! He will resume speaking in third person till
this is over!

Oh, Egg-Egg.. I spent the last few hours fuming about Sonic. He snagged the emerald
from me! How, or when, I can not say. Why? Because I have no clue when he did it,
obviously! You stupid diary! Can't you think for yourself?! BAH! Where were YOU when
they handed out your text?!

Oh, wait, you're a diary. You won't have text. So that makes YOU unintelligent!

... Oh, come now, don't weep, Egg-Egg! I didn't mean it! Come on, feel better, daddy's
here--...

Okay, I'd better go take a walk or something.

It's getting really hot in here. I should install A/C or something. Being the genius I am,
you'd think I'd remember to do such. Oh well, busy schedule as usual!

Speaking of which, I will be gone for an amount of time to go retrieve that stupid Chaos
Emerald that Sonic and friend have snatched from me. I probably won't be back until
tomorrow, dear Egg-Egg, as I plan to go Emerald-searching for the others as well!

Do not fear! The Eggman will return! Mwahahah! With immense power!

Doesn't that just send a chill up your inanimate spine?
