Eggman's Bases

Muahaha! An evil genius like me has to have a base of operations! And I've had so many bases, I've made a data-base of them! (Note: Most of these screenshots are from GHZ, to give credit where it's due and such.)

My bases will be listed alphebetically!

Atomic Destroyer
Bzz-ap!
After gaining(And accidentally losing all but one of) the Chaos Emeralds, I began to develop a world conquest weapon here, at the Atomic Destroyer! As five of the Emeralds scattered, it wasn't long before Sonic collected them and arrived at my base to crash my party. The base itself was filled with transport tubes and the sort of high-tech gadgets you'd expect from me. Fairly standard.

Appearances
Sonic Triple Trouble

Bullet Station
Yaaawn, this isn't really Eggman, y'know.
In a barren canyon lies the metallic rail-filled base known as Bullet Station. Filled with Egg Pawns, Egg Flappers, and other standard fare hazards, there's not a terrible lot to say about this one.

Appearances
Sonic Heroes

Circus Park
There's no time to clown around!
Filled to the brim with carnival games, robotic circus performers, and of course, deadly traps! Circus Park is certainly one of my more "fun" bases, taking a hint in design from such locale as Casino Park.

Appearances
Shadow the Hedgehog

Cosmic Angel
Space. Yep.
Another space base, this one was packed with psychadelic neon lights-But more importantly, with the deadly robots! In this base, I attacked with a powerful spiked machine!

Appearances
Sonic Advance

Cryptic Castle
Egg Breaker means business.
What's cryptic about this castle, you ask? Its security system, for one! How lighting five lanterns protects this base is a concept so brilliant that only I understand it.

Appearances
Shadow the Hedgehog

Crystal Egg
ELECTRIFYING!
I held Tails ransom for a hefty sum of all the Chaos Emeralds, but rather than pay up, Sonic decided to challenge me in my new base! Here, I used this convoluted electric machine to impede his progress! Shocked doesn't even begin to describe how he must've felt! Oohoho!

Dead Line
This is the best picture I could get, sorry.
A space station similar in appearance to the Death Egg, I used this during my very brief teamup with Eggman Nega. As traps and enemies go, it was actually much less defended than the Death Egg, providing far less obstructions in Sonic's path.

Death Egg
Parody or tribute? You decide.
Perhaps my most famous base to date, my super space station Death Egg was one of my greatest achievments ever! Constructed in my Metropolis base, the Death Egg is a super doomsday weapon capable of destroying an entire planet! My plan was simple- Give the people an ultimatum of submit or die, sure that they'd bend at my demands. But you all know the story- Sonic and his bratty sidekick came along to spoil my fun! Sneaking about Wing Fortress, the blue bumbler managed to enter the Death Egg, where he subsequently defeated his mechanical lookalike Silver Sonic. I was ready though, and fought him in a large battlesuit made in my likeness! Unfortunately, things soon took a turn for the worse, and the Death Egg made an impromptu crash landing on Angel Island. But that turned out to be quite the stroke of luck- Learning of the Master Emerald's ability to keep the island afloat, I sought to take it and use it on my damaged ship! I soon built Launch Base, a massive project to relaunch the huge battlestation and continue my plan- But ever the persistant one, Sonic showed up again, sending it for another crash landing into Lava Reef. Frustrated, but not defeated, I regrouped and finally got it into outer space again. That prickly pest would, once again, follow after me, and defeated my new and improved Eggman battle suit. The Death Egg was subsequently destroyed, but not long after this I made the Death Egg II(See more about that in its description), but that also failed. Ever the nostalgist, I repaired the original Death Egg and reused it some time later, this time as a racecourse! I proved to be quite the competitor in my Egg Typhoon! Later still, equipping it with a massive weapon known as the Final Egg Blaster, I struck again. This time it was that crazed machine Emerl that got in my way and almost used it to destroy the planet, when unlikely assistance came from Sonic, who destroyed the rogue robot. I haven't used the Death Egg since, but I just might put it to use again someday...

Death Egg II
A bit egg-cessive...
I made a second Death Egg, which was much like the first with six multicolored additional stations attatched to it. The result is a rather bulky-looking mess, but it's quite powerful! Since the only spacecraft the heroes had could seat one person(Certainly doesn't compare to my luxurious accomodations), they had a fighting tournament to determine who'd be best to come face me.

Appearances
Sonic the Fighters

Egg Carrier
Behold my flying fortress!
Without a doubt, this is my most famous flying fortress, the mighty Egg Carrier! I innitially used this as my main mode of travel while plotting to use Chaos as a weapon- And let me tell you, this ship is huge. So big, in fact, that it has a series of monorails, elevators, transport trains, and other devices, all of which are neccearry to get around in this beast of a ship. Notable areas include the Sky Deck and Hot Shelter, as well as my own personal quarters, which are open while the ship is in its second form. The ship has a large laser on its mount called the Egg Cannon, which I used to obliterate Sonic's plane, the Tornado! Chaos and I battled Sonic on the deck, but I think my bombs ended up helping him more than get in his way- Bah! The ship was soon sent crashing into the ocean- But luckily, I had a spare lying around, which I used to take on the traitorous Chaos! Unfortunately, the backup ship wasn't as powerful as the original due to rushed building, and a blast from the stupid beast destroyed it. I would later rebuild the Egg Carrier, upgrading it into a newer, sleeker model for another plan...

Egg Factory
Burn, baby, burn!
This racetrack was filled with lava and huge robots to act as obstacles during the EX World Grand Prix! It's my favorite course in the whole tournament, as you might expect!

Appearances
Sonic Riders

Egg Utopia
Does whatever an Eggman can.
Yet another outer space base, the Egg Utopia adds a new gimmick to the mix- thin rails in the midst of tons of obstacles, forcing the heroes to keep balance and concentrate on enemies. Ah, what fun! At the end, I challenged Sonic and his bothersome buddies in a new mech capable of clinging to walls!

Appearances
Sonic Advance 2

Eggman Island
Somebody's watchin' meeee~
Managing to capture Sonic, along with his now-awol friends Mighty and Ray, I left them for dead at my top-security prison, Eggman Island! But being the tenacious sorts that they are, they escaped and began running amok! I watched their progress from the safety of my tower, and when they did reach me, I just escaped and decided to blow the entire island up in the hopes they'd get blown to bits with it. As luck would have it, they didn't.

Appearances

Electric Egg
This STEP of my plan was ingenious!
Ah, South Island. The place brought back memories- Bitter, angry memories of defeat at Sonic's hands. So I returned and conquered it while he was absent, going so far as to mechanize Green Hill, Sonic's usual home turf. All this was done from my Electric Egg, a more advanced base than Scrap Brain, with more advanced foes and obstacles! When Sonic reached me, I battled him in a walker mech, which would later inspire similar machines in later schemes!

Appearances
Sonic Chaos

Final Egg
Get a load of this!
Deep in the Mystic Ruins, I located my base, Final Egg. This is where I kept my Egg Carrier docked, and where I created the original E-Series robots. I had another confrontation with Sonic here, and used my Egg Viper against him! Unfortunately, the base was destroyed- Sad, as it was one of my better forts.

Appearances
Sonic Adventure

Final Fortress
It can fly!
Final Fortress is the flagship of the Egg Fleet, my armada of ships. This ship, in particular, is as big as an entire city! Filled with Egg Pawns and E-2000 robots, it's quite a sight to behold!

Appearances
Sonic Heroes

Flying Battery
I've got the drop on you this time!
Another base mainly used as a transport vehicle. I used it during my scheme on Angel Island, and had quite a few clever surprises for Sonic! One of which was a deadly attack robot disguised as an animal capsule, the other a  deadly ceiling laser much like the one I used in Wing Fortress. Of course, I couldn't let my robots have all the fun- I fought Sonic with a mech of my own, attempting to knock him off the ship for quite a lethal plummit to the ground below. As flying fortresses go, this may not be as highly remembered as my others, but it's still a worthy mention.

Appearances
Sonic and Knuckles

Gameworld
Let the games begin!
My five-story tower was filled with minigame challenges, and each floor had a Chaos Emerald hidden within! My loads of challenging attractions kept Sonic, Tails, and Amy quite busy!

Appearances
Sonic the Hedgehog Gameworld

Ice Factory
Ice, ice, baby!
The polar opposite of Egg Factory, Ice Factory is a frozen base with new slippery surfaces and the same slippery foes from before!

Appearances
Sonic Riders

Iron Jungle
Egg Breaker means business. Again.
This is where I stored my Shadow Androids. The base had, as the title would suggest, a jungle motif. This base in particular was under constant fire from GUN.

Appearances
Shadow the Hedgehog

Labyrinth
Good Knight, Sonic!
After bamboozling that blue busybody into wearing my Slowdown Boots, I lured Sonic into my huge Labyinth, consisting of four sections- Labyrinth of the Sky, Labyrinth of the Sea, Labyrinth of the Factory, and Labyrinth of the Castle! I myself fought Sonic with a giant mech in my likeness, dressed in traditional knight's armor to fit the whole "castle" theme. This scheme would've been perfect if my Slowdown Boots could've prevented that spindash attack of his!

Appearances
Sonic Labyrinth

Lava Shelter
Gonna deal some damage!
A lava-filled base, as the title would indicate. The base relied on a volcanic defense system, which could be activated by a series of switches throughout it.

Appearances
Shadow the Hedgehog

Launch Base
Trivia: Not even Super Sonic was immune to this boss!
Launch Base was built for the sole purpose of relaunching the crashed Death Egg. That said, it's now entirely defunct, but was once full of Badniks and traps to deter Sonic's progress. I battled Sonic here myself, using three different Eggmobile forms.

Appearances
Sonic the Hedgehog 3

Metallic Madness
Round and round and round it goes! Where it stops- EGGMAN knows!
My giant factory on Little Planet, which was in the midst of the then-conquered Stardust Speedway, where  Sonic faced off against Metal Sonic for the first time. Following Metal's defeat, Sonic charged into my base, where he was met with buzzaws, shrink rays, and Badniks of all kinds! I fought him with a grand spinning contraption, but it seems he won that round.

Appearances

Metropolis
You know what they say, the more the merrier!
Don't let the name fool you! This isn't a sprawling city, but a huge factory that I used on Westside Island! It was an important part of my invasion, and is where Wing Fortress and the Death Egg were built! Lava, trap platforms with spikes, and other hazards fill the base! I battled Sonic using Eggman decoys, and when that failed, I used a huge laser! After he defeated my machine, I escaped to Wing Fortress, hoping to get rid of him there...

Appearances
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis)

Newtrogic High Zone
We are amused!
My massive amusement park-themed base consisted of five parts- Amazing Arena, Botanic Base, Marine Madness, Speed Slider, and Techno Tower! This huge fortress was used during my confrontation with Knuckles and the Chaotix, back during my Dark Ring scheme.

Appearances
Knuckles Chaotix

Panic Puppet
...I'm not sure about the name either honestly
During my attack on Flickie Island, I used this  fine base as the center of my operations! Adorned with a giant statue of yours truly, this base is a beautiful sight to behold! I battled Sonic with three machines in the final room.

Appearances
Sonic 3D Blast

Pyramid Base
Those idiots will never find my hidden base inside this pyramid!
My pyramid base is perhaps the most decorated of all my bases! Statues, sculptures, murals- My glorious visage can be seen everywhere you look! I heard reports from my minions that there've been ghosts sighted in the base, but as a man of science, I don't believe a word of it! The base featured a fully-working space transporter, allowing me to teleport to the ARK and back with ease! Sonic and the gang managed to steal a shuttle from me after I experienced some... technical difficulties with my Egg Golem robot. Lousy piece of junk... *ahem* But certainly, the Pyramid Base is one my most iconic strongholds yet, and really shows how artistic I can be in my building design!

Appearances
Sonic Adventure 2

Scrap Brain
EGGMAN SMASH Even in 8-bit, I'm awesome!
This one's speical- It was my very first base! Located on scenic South Island, Scrap Brain Zone is a huge factory devoted to manufacturing my Badniks and weapons! There's all kinds of tricks and traps set up to stop intruders, such as buzzsaws, trap doors, and the toughest robot sentries around! Beneath the factory is a flooded labyrinth that'll give even the bravest of adventurers a run for their money! I battled Sonic here using a series of crashing piston-like devices in the main engine room, which is often rerred to as Final Zone.

Silver Castle
Seems blue to me Get the POINT?
After splitting an Emerald into five shards, I began to search for the missing pieces, and used my Silver Castle base to rise to the occassion! Sonic found the Emeralds, and brought them to me instead, so after he cleared the castle's many spiky traps and defeated hordes of enemies, I used two super mechs to battle him!

Appearances
Sonic Blast

Sky Base

My very first air fortress, and I must say, I've come a long way in terms of design. I used this during my second attack on South Island, and filled it to the brim with the best of the worst enemies I could build! It didn't hold up to Sonic's attack, but what can I say? It was my first flying base, afterall.

Appearances
Sonic the Hedgehog (Gamegear)

Veg-O-Fortress
Who's the pinball wizard?
My giant pinball deathtrap proved quite a challenge for Sonic, who got flung all over the place in his attempts to defeat me! Armed with toxic waste and some of the most bizzaire robots I've ever used, the Veg-O-Fortress is truly a unique experiment in evil bases!

Appearances
Sonic Spinball (Genesis)

White Acropolis Base
Chillin' like a villain.
Stationed in Soleanna, my White Acropolis Base is filled with some of the most advanced, sleekest robots yet! (Since the 2006 game was made to have "never happened" according to the end, it's quite possible this base was never made as a result.)

Appearances
Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)

Wing Fortress
Sonic flying worst class.
This base was mainly a transport vehicle for trips between Metropolis and the Death Egg. Hordes of Clucker bots patrol the ship with cannons ready for uninvited stowaways, and a certain giant laser comes in handy when heavy-duty pest extermination is called for.

Appearances
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis)

X Zone
An armed force.
A small space headquarters near Cosmic Angel- I broke out a couple of my old machines here, and then brought forth my new grabbing arm mecha. This entire base was built mainly to be a battle arena, so there's not much to say about it. Once we were done here, Sonic and I took our fight to the moon, where I used my Super Egg Machine.

Appearances
Sonic Advance

XX Zone
SUPER!
Like X Zone, this flat space station was designed solely for battling the heroes. Here I used my past robots from the plot I was currently working on, and following that, unleashed Super Eggrobo Z. Then Super Sonic and I had a good old fashioned battle in outer space.
