First attack/South Island = Sonic the
Hedgehog
Second attack/Little Planet = Sonic CD
Third attack/Westside Island = Sonic the Hedgehog 2
First half of attack on Angel Island = Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Second half of attack on Angel Island = Sonic and Knuckles
Sandworm:
Ha, this Badnik was supposed to jump out of the sand unexpectedly, hitting
my enemies! I hope it's not hard to guess what it's based on... Anyway, it
was sorta Caterkiller like. It had spikes on all of it but its head. Why I
always leave one weakness, I really don't know... Anyway, it was supposed
to jump out unexpectedly, but it made a trail of sand as it went, alerting
the heroes to its presence... It might've worked if it wasn't for that. Used
in the second half of my attack on Angel Island, in Sandopolis Zone.
Shell
Cracker: Ah, another crab based Badnik... This one was quite a bit better
than Crabmeat, in some ways. It would walk sideways, like it, and would fire
its giant claw at Sonic and Tails! Unfortunately, this only worked if they
were on the side of it WITH the giant claw, and it was unable to hit them
from the other side. Not only that, but it was a poor judge of distance...
I made these for the Metropolis Zone, in my attack on Westside Island.
Silver
Sonic: Ahh, Silver Sonic... I've used him a couple of times, but he's
NOWHERE as good as Metal. I first used him during my third attack. I think
Metal Sonic was in repairs... Basically, this robot just fought with Sonic.
Not really that much stronger than Sonic, but, when using his boosts, he could
be faster than him, for a bit. However, his pattern of attack was predictable,
and he was almost completely destroyed. He was the ONLY Badnik in the Death
Egg Zone at that time, unless you count the giant mech of me.
Skorp:
Muahaha! This was another good one... A scorpion based Badnik, as you
should be able to guess from its name. But then again, I doubt the IQ of most
of you combined is enough to get out of double digits... Meh, anyway, this
one would try to hit the heroes with its spiky tail. This would leave it vulnerable,
however. I placed it in Sandopolis Zone, during the second half of my attack
on Angel Island.
Slicer: This
one is far more mantis based than Mantis... It was an OK one... It would throw
its sythes at Sonic and Tails, in an attempt to hit them. The scythes moved
in a circular type pattern, and covered a bit of area... However, they were
often able to dodge them, and after that, the Badnik would be not only defenseless,
but unable to move, too. I made it during my attack on Westside Island, and
placed it in the Metropolis Zone.
Snale
Blaster: Ah, this Badnik was pretty good... Mainly defensive though. It
was based on a snail... It would sometimes aim at the heroes, using the cannon
in its shell. However, in order to aim, it would have to get out of its invulnerable
shell, allowing it to be destroyed! Not only that, but the cannon was vulnerable
too! Oh well... I used it at the Launch Base Zone, during the first half of
my attack on Angel Island.
Sol: Muahaha,
this was a good one... It would throw fireballs at Sonic and Tails. Though
it was easy to dodge, this Badnik just seemed to have some cool nature about
it... I mean, it didn't do anything else, and just continued on its course...
Of course, I might have not PROGRAMMED it to do anything else, but oh well...
I used it in the Hill Top Zone, during my attack on Westside Island.
Spikebonker:
This was a strange Badnik... It would fly around, and ocasionally swing
that spiked ball around, throwing it at the heroes... It wasn't too effective,
since it was pretty vulnerable, but it was OK. I used it during the second
half of my attack on Angel Island, in the Death Egg Zone.
Spiker: I
have no clue what I was thinking when I made this Badnik, so don't ask me.
It would shoot its giant spike thing straight up, leaving it vulnerable and
nearly harmless, then walk around. Sure, it usually waited until they were
directly overhead, but they were usually quickly jumping past! I told you
not to ask me what I was thinking! They were placed on ceilings often, making
them a bit better, but still... A stupid idea. I made it during my third big
attack, on Westside Island, and placed it in the Hill Top Zone.
Spiker:
Ha! This Badnik was much cooler than the last one... It disguised itself
as a bunch of spikes... Then, when it saw heroes coming, it would get up and
shoot balls of energy at them! It couldn't move much, and was easily destroyed,
but it was cool! When the heroes tried to jump on the spikes, they would bounce
off, so they had to spin dash into these to defeat them... I made them during
the first half of my attack on Angel Island, and placed them in the Marble
Garden Zone.
Spiny:
Why are these things called Spiny? I have no idea. They don't look very
spiny... I'm really bad at names. Or I just don't find them important while
I'm making the Badniks, but when I look back on it like this... Anyway, it
would move a little bit, then shoot a ball of energy out of its top, in an
attempt to hit Sonic and Tails. It was used in the Chemical Plant Zone, during
my third big attack, on Westside Island.
Star
Pointer: This one was like a mix of the first Nebula and Sol... It would
throw those icey spikes surrounding it at Sonic and his friends, and then
be pretty much useless afterwards. I used it in the Ice Cap Zone, during the
first half of my attack on Angel Island.
Technosqueak:
A fairly harmless Badnik, this one based off a mouse. It just kinda went
left and right over and over... If it was on the walls, it would go up and
down. I think I was just bored, rather than wanting to make something to kill
Sonic with. It was used in the Flying Battery Zone, one of my flying fortresses,
during my second half of my attack on Angel Island.
Toxomister:
Now THIS was a good Badnik... Or, it would have been, if not for a flaw...
When the heroes came by, it would fire a cloud of gas that would slow the
heroes down incredibly! The cloud would stick to them, and never go away!
EVER! MUAHAHAHAHA! ....Or, that was the hope. It turned out, however, that
once the Badnik was destroyed, the cloud would disappear... Used in the Lava
Reef Zone, during the second half of my attack on Angel Island.
Tunnelbot:
This Badnik was basically a giant drill! It didn't attack the heroes directly,
but it would drill into places, destroying landscape and impeding their progress.
For example, in Marble Garden it would drill into the ceiling in an attempt
to drop debris on my enemies. I used it several times during my attack on
Angel Island, but I first used it in the first half of my attack on Angel
Island, in the Marble Garden Zone.
Turbo
Spiker: Aren't I great at naming Badniks? This one was based on a snail...
It would roll around, then when Sonic or any of them came by, it would fire
its shell at them! ...well, actually, it just fired it straight up, as the
majority of Badniks are morons... And once it fired its shell, it was basically
completely harmless, and easy to destroy. Created during the first half of
my attack on Angel Island, and used in the Hydrocity Zone.
Turtloid:
All my Badniks in Sky Chase Zone were pretty much incompetent, harmless,
and complete failures. It's no surprise that this one isn't any different.
It would fly by excruciatingly slowly, and sometimes fire balls of energy
at the Tornado. Bah... The bigger turtle was indestructable, but I think the
metal was too heavy to do anything practical with it... Or so I hope. If not,
then I could've defeated the heroes looong ago... Anyway, I've already said
what zone it was used in, and I made it during my attack on Westside Island.
Whisp:
This Badnik was as harmless as a fly! Fitting, since it was based on one.
They would swarm and attempt to hit Sonic and Tails, but with a simple kaiten
jump, they were easily destroyed and repelled. They were used in the Aquatic
Ruin Zone, during my third big attack, on Westside Island.
???:
I don't remember what I called this one... It was a lot like Motobug,
except better. It had spikes on the top, and since Sonic couldn't spin dash
at the time, I thought he'd be unable to beat him. However, if Sonic managed
to get a running start, he could roll into these Badniks... Bah, stupid hedgehog...
Created during my first big attack, on South Island.
???:
This was more a weapon than a Badnik... It slid back and forth on bars,
ocasionally stopping to fire lasers at the heroes. It was useful in that respect...
But still not too useful. I used it during the first half of my attack on
Angel Island, and in the Launch Base Zone.
