Someone who hates EggDork

Let me say here that I actually replied to Mr. Who Hates EggDork's email, only to receive an error stating that the user no longer existed. I tried this a couple of times, and got the same result. What we have here appears to be a random punk who isn't confident enough to face me in a debate.

But hey, let's not let that ruin everyone's fun. Watch as I pick the argument apart piece by piece and reveal it for the oafish dribble it is.

iPoint 1: you say that he saves the world, last time I checked he did nothing.

Sonic Heroes. You know I hate that game, but its defining moments were at the end. Eggman, just rescued by the Chaotix, advises the heroes on what to do, and gives them hints during the battle. Sure, he didn't actually fight Metal, but he had no means to. He did the best he could in the situation, and disproved this idiot's accusations before he even made them. More to the point, he has ACTIVELY saved the world plenty of times. In Sonic Adventure 2, he helps get to the ARK's core, and directs the entire mission. In Sonic Advance 3, he helps Super Sonic stop Gemerl. And as much as I despise the game, in Shadow the Hedgehog he fights bravely against Black Doom. Eggman's done his share of world saving, bud.

Point 2: Other than that have you noticed that none of his plans work?

This is wrong. He actually won in Sonic Riders- However, this is hardly relevent to my main counterpoint. I think Eggman's the greatest thing in videogame history, and even I recognize that he's a VILLAIN. Common to tradition, villains lose a lot. If they won, the series would end and they'd make no return appearances. I'd rather Eggman suffer temporary losses and appear again than gain permanant victory and never be seen.

Point 3: That he always has the Chaos Emeralds taken from him?

What? That doesn't even make sense.The heroes are always having the Chaos Emeralds taken from them too, by Eggman. It's a constant back-and-forth plot of theft, and Eggman's hardly the only one who loses here.

Point 4: That the only freakin' time he won, what he won was a crappy piece of cloth?

You contradicted yourself. In your second point, you mentioned that he NEVER won. My my, your argument's closing in on itself, isn't it? But continuing, what he won was irrelevant. The point is, he DID win. And as I said before, as a villain, he's going to lose often. That has no connection whatsoever to his character.

Point 5: That he 's teamed up with Sonic?

What kind of argument is THAT? I found his truces with Sonic to be very well done- It developed his character and proved to everyone that he wasn't some pure evil heartless madman. Eggman has morals, and doesn't want destruction to happen. Hence, he's willing to work with Sonic when a greater need rises.

Point 6: That he's betrayed so much?

And this has any bearing on his character whatsoever, how? If anything, it's the traitors who are dishonorable here, not Eggman. Or more to the point, Iizuka, who's behind the games in which these happen(But that's for a seperate article altogether).

Point 7: I mean the guy made a freakin' doll.

And airships. And deadly battledroids. And tons of bases. More to the point, Tails Doll was not a bad creation. The little runt has a sort of cult fanbase, it seems, for being "the creepiest of the Sonic cast." This isn't a valid attack on Eggman.

As you can see, this entire email was meaningless. However, it has served as an effective tool for me to use to prove even moreso how awesome Eggman is.
